Luiza Codery
Luiza spent the first few years of her life in Rio de Janeiro, speaking Portuguese. She then moved to the UK, her current home, where she added fluent English and Spanish to her mother tongue. Luiza willingly admits that she had absolutely no intention of becoming an Influencer – her journey and growth online has been a truly organic and authentic one.
Luiza began singing as soon as she could speak, so it’s perhaps no wonder that she first gained social notoriety in 2016 with a cover version of James Arthur’s ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ (4.7mn views). In 2018 her Zhavia (who Luiza looks remarkably similar to (no relation!) transformation video went viral (1.1mn views), followed a little over a year later by the incredible video of American singer-songwriter Zhavia coming onto Luiza’s channel to do Luiza’s make-up (7.3mn views). Luiza then went on to take TikTok and Instagram by storm, where she is now known for her trend-defining school outfit videos – and her obsession with oversized, retro, thrift-store sweaters.
When she heads to University, she’s looking to develop her passion for visual arts, psychology, creativity and the environment by studying media & communications.
